Abstract

|
PLC-subtype of guinea pig atrium and ventricle is PLC-γ. But PLC-subtypes of rat atrium and ventricle are PLC-γ AND plc-δ. Carbachol(3×10E4M) induced increase of contractility and intracellular sodium activity were blocked by atropine in
beating
guinea pig papillary muscle.
But M1 receptor blocker, pirenzepine blocked increase of contractility except increase of aN Phenyle phrine(10E-5M)-induced increase of contractility were inhibited by Isoprenaline pretreatment.
It suggested that PLC-γ of guinea pig heart may be inhibited by c-AMP increase.
